Condobolin gets behind City to Soil

Everyone we spoke to in Condobolin this week let us know how excited they were about the new City to Soil collection, and what perfect sense it makes to compost food and garden waste rather than sticking it into landfill. Everyone LOVES the new Biobags and MaxAir bins.
You can see from the photos how free of contamination the collections were.

Wow..how long will it takes the bag and its contents to discompose?

Hi Tie
Thanks so much for dropping by and leaving a comment!

The biobags compost at the same rate as the food scraps - they usually break down within 4 - 6 week, and are completely broken down by the end of the 10 - 12 week composting process.

We use a special microbiological composting inoculant to make sure we have the right bugs in there doing the right thing, so that there is no smell and that the final product has been pasteurised to get rid of any weed seeds or other nasties.

thanks for stopping by
